BASICS FOR RTMP-INGEST

SD and HD Channel

The settings described are to be understood as basic settings and may differ depending on the setup (encoder, available network bandwidth, etc.).

SD-Output

Protocol:   RTMP

RTMPS not supported

Video

Videocodec:   AVC

Frames per second:   25

Keep as close as possible to the settings of the source signal. Currently, all streams are delivered in 25 fps, so 25 fps on delivery is currently the best use of the bitrate.

Keyframe-Interval:   2s GOP

GOP = Group of pictures
2 seconds GOP = 50 frames at 25 fps

Resolution:   1280 x 720 Pixel

Bitrate:   2.5 - 4 mbps | CBR

Resolution:   1920 x 1080 Pixel

Bitrate:   4 - 8 mbps | CBR

CBR = Constant bitrate

Audio

Codec:   AAC-LC

Channels:   2 (stereo)

Bitrate:   192 kbps

Samplerate:   48 kHz

HD-Output

Bitrate depending on network possibilities

Bitrate must be dimensioned depending on local network possibilities:

Bitrate x 1.5 < available network bandwidth
