G&L designs and builds media processing and distribution systems that work.

We are a systems integrator and managed service provider based in Cologne with offices in Berlin, Munich, and Pleasanton, CA. G&L stands for reliable delivery of video and audio content and a proven partner network of global leaders – from A for Akamai and AWS to Z for Zuora.

Our business is bustling and exciting. We address it with intellectual, organisational and process agility. Alexander Leschinsky and Hans W. Geißendörfer have been in the streaming business since 1999. They founded the company G&L in Cologne in 2005.

Our hiring process

1.

Apply

We look forward to receiving your online application via our job portal or our social media channels. All submissions are carefully reviewed by us. We make sure to examine every application and get back to you as soon as possible. G&L is constantly growing, so unsolicited applications are always welcome!

2.

First interview

A 30-minute video interview with a member of our People & Culture team. It is really important for us to get to know you and understand what drives you. We also want to give you a lot of information about G&L and enable you to assess whether you want to be part of our company.

3.

Get to know the team and culture

A one hour follow-up (video) interview where you will get a chance to meet your coach from your potential new team. During this exchange we will discuss your skill-set and experiences in detail, and you will receive more in-depth information about the role, the team and what daily-business looks like.

4.

Welcome on board!

Once all the formalities have been cleared up, nothing stands in the way of your first day with us. You will receive your pre-setup work computer and a welcome box filled with goodies. Our onboarding process will help you get to know the different teams, your new colleagues, exciting projects and the partners we work with.

I'm in constant communication with every department, ensuring that talents can flourish in a supportive, innovative and exciting environment. I’m heavily involved in onboarding new colleagues and have been present in at least one of the interviews. In my role as a Junior Technical Recruiter, I’m responsible for ensuring that the recruitment process at G&L runs smoothly. This includes reviewing incoming applications in detail, scheduling and attending interviews, and liaising with potential candidates.

Hi, I'm Lea, and my goal is to increase the well-being of all our employees – by arranging great team events and benefits, for example.
