This talk looks at how media workflows can be designed to be secure, auditable and scalable, and how sovereignty (data location, vendor independence) can go hand in hand with cost and energy efficiency. Requirements from EU regulations such as NIS2 are translated into practical architectural and operational building blocks: zero trust from contribution to player, resilient origins (shielding), token-based access control, DRM/watermarking, and end-to-end observability – including the growing roles of AI and data sovereignty.
